It looks like they add another voice notification for HDR On/Off at 1:54 in the video;
Very nice.
If only the remote was standard equipment instead of an optional $20 accessory, but oh well. lol

Viofo is in business to make a profit, hence they develop useful, reasonably priced accessories like multi-button remotes to increase the functionalities of their cameras.

In theory, all these remote button functions could simply be a simple BlueTooth (or WiFi) smartphone app, although perhaps not as immediately handy or convenient as a physical button.

Edit: I guess they could charge a few bucks for an app like that, if it were separate from the primary Viofo app. As a small separate app it could be easier to use on the fly but I think the remote button is still a better approach even you have to pay for it.
