cut usb cable and wanted to Connect directly to 12v accessories but not power at all.

Use the 12V to 5V voltage converter in the cigarette lighter included in the kit or purchase an additional HK4 to connect your model in a car.

Ferrite ring core is to bulky. Cannot hide in windshield.

Firstly, they can be removed.
Secondly, contact Viofo and they will send you an НK4 without a ferrite ring.
