I know.
I do not think it is a matter of the amount of light, my H4 55 W bulbs are plenty strong i think, but the light from them in low beam only go into the other lane up to 5 M or so in front of the car, i simply can not capture plates with S1pro Max or T 800.
But if i put on high beam and adjust those all the way down so i at least do not fry the retina on oncoming drivers i am catching plates just fine, even have several frames to choose from, Okay the light of the high beam are stronger alright, but i think more important it is thrown into the oncoming lane some 15 M and further out ahead.

If i was younger and more fit i would load several 100 kilos of stuff into the boot of my car to get the low beams higher up to test if that made a change.

That is too much work for us old men. Just install one of those lowrider hydraulic lift systems; you will be able to jack that front end up to whatever height you want. 🙂

Perhaps you should take your car to a shop to have your headlights checked and adjusted...
I used to take my cars in for headlight adjustments every fall, but for the past five years, my main cars have had automatic headlight adjustments.

Hehe yeah that would be nice, but baggin a car is not legal here, really you can only change the ride height with a few mm up / down.

Also good laugh here watching police TV programs and them say stopping a tuned moped that do 60 km/h or a moped with 2 people on it, and the cop say " these mopeds are not build for that "
But YES they are, they sell the same mopeds in other countries going much faster then the 30 km/h limit here, and also OK for 2 people CUZ i refuse to believe they put a special weaker motor on it or special for Denmark weaker brakes.
The 50 CC motors here are usually plugged on the intake side, and karburator might have a smaller hole ASO, all things any Danish kid know to remedy.

I have severe issues paying for ignorance ( at best ) with my tax.

My headlights are ok, i have just put them on, it is the 3 pair on my car as they die fairly quick, plastics turning opaque and crack.

Adjustment should be fine, at least it was after biannual inspections of other i have put on the car, they check that every time.

They still can be adjusted manually to have the correct base height. The load depending adjustment will be made by the car.

Perhaps you should take your car to a shop to have your headlights checked and adjusted...
