watching my footage from my dash cam

I was wondering can I transfer the footage on the sd card to a usb so I can watch it on my tv? or do I need a program?

ok thanks it is a 2015 LG hmmm guess I have to check out the spec.

Also do you need a dash cam viewer?

Just plug the micro sd card into a card reader and plug reader to USB port in TV and it'll play. My TV's 2015 Samsung smart TV.

works fine in my 5-6 years old LG tv, but its just footage playback, what ever GPS information not in the footage itself will not be displayed.

it is a 2015 LG

If your PC and TV are on the same LAN you should be able to right click and select "play to" that's what I do on my windows 8 PC and 2014 LGTV and it works great!

on my MacBook, using the thunderbolt on the laptop to HDMI on the TV I get the laptops audio and video on to the TV screen, could this be used for you too?
