Any multi channel Box series type like Blackvue Box series in the works for 2026?
 
I really like my T800 and my Omni 4K

My questions:

  • Can we get access to Telnet and HTTP file access again? T800 seems to block it?
  • Do you have any future plans for AI in your products?
  • What is it like working in the office at 70mai?

Hi, Julian. Our first-generation battery pack is positioned as a cost-effective product, so it doesn't support apps or series connection. We've received a lot of demand and we'll try to include it in our second-generation battery pack. The development timeline for this isn't confirmed yet.

Hi, the A810 does not have a 4K watermark. If the latitude, longitude, and speed are not displayed, there should be a problem with the GPS. The map shows a map of China, but it may also be because the GPS has no positioning, so it displays China by default. Hi, we have also received feedback from many owners of left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles that the socket position is not aesthetically pleasing or conflicts, and the lens is not centered. We have already asked the appearance team to open the socket on the top of the machine as much as possible for the new products next year, and at the same time, the lens should be centered as much as possible. We cannot guarantee that all new products can be like this, but we will try our best to pay attention to this issue. Every time we launch a new product in 2026, we will also pay attention to this aspect of user experience in the hardware stage.

But you need someone who actively installs on vehicles to give you feedback on how wires can be run. Wire management is a big thing.
 
Blatant ageism notwithstanding, thanks for the reply! I look forward to more AI in the future, perhaps the video overlays on the 70mai app could have licence plate overlays etc.

Hello 70mai team,
I use an A810-2 + UP4 hardwire, starting with october 2023.
I used a sd card SanDisk High Endurance 256 from october 2023 until the firmware update 1.8.108ww - whitout any issue.
Starting with the last fw update, dashcam displays the message "Low performance, please switch memory card".
I swapped it with a SanDisk max Endurance 128, same issue after 15 minutes of functioning.
I replaced one week ago with a sd card 70mai T U3 128, same issue after only 6 trips of 1-1,5 hours each.
It is not a temperature related problem, the issue manifested again today, at 7°C after 15 minutes of driving, dashcam was ice cold at touch.
Please note I saw at least 50 complaint messages in facebook groups, all the users pointed the latest firmware update as a culprit.
When the message is shown, dashcam will not store any video until power off - power on. After a power off - power on cycle, another 15 - 20 minutes of normal operațional are available.
Are you aware of this issue?
 
@Oliver_70mai Hello, please give a feedback to dev teams to let us use telnet again or add possibility to disable that annoying power up sound. That’s crazy we have to hear it again, or is there any possibility to downgrade firmware?

Hi, version 1.8.108ww hasn't been officially released to the public yet. This version optimizes some issues, but some new issues have also been discovered. You can send me a private message to see how you received this version, and I'll send you a rollback version to the current publicly available version.

Hi, which model did you encounter this problem with? You can message me privately so I can confirm if there's an option to toggle the sound on/off. Our older models didn't have this feature, but after receiving user feedback, we've added it to our newer products from last year, all of which should support the power-on sound setting.
