I was driving my dad's car with no dashcam. Murphy's law ofc.
I'm still in flight or flight, so I doing about 40 when I see the shadow of a car speeding on a side road which is about to cross mine. They had a stop sign. (It's at night)
The second I saw their speed I slowed down a bit, I see them about to blast through the stop sign at a very high speed. I slammed on my brakes as hard as I could while honking, and I stopped about 5 feet from their side.
But there was an oncoming car on my road, they hit them. Called 911 but I really couldn't stay on scene, which sucks. I left after I saw the first cop, who showed up about a minute later, which is amazing. There was another witness so I didn't feel I needed to stay. Woman driving had hit her knee. When I left the scene I saw paramedics and fire trucks coming.
Yeah... interesting night.
