Redtiger F17 Elite
Whether you're a daily commuter or an avid road tripper, this cutting-edge device packs a punch with its advanced features to keep you safe, informed, and entertained on the road. Let’s dive into what makes the F17 Elite a game-changer!

4K Ultra HD Front Camera + 1080P Cabin Camera + 2.5K Rear Cam
Say goodbye to blurry footage! The F17 Elite delivers crystal-clear 4K quality from the front camera and 2.5K from the rear, ensuring every detail is captured, from license plates to street signs—even in low light conditions. With its wide-angle lenses, you’ll cover more of the road than ever before. You won't even miss the view in your car with the 1080P cabin cam!

Super Night Vision with Sony STARVIS Sensor
Driving at night? No problem. The F17 Elite features a Sony STARVIS sensor for superior low-light performance. It enhances clarity in dark environments, providing vivid, detailed footage even on dimly lit streets or during stormy weather.

Built-in GPS and Route Tracking
Want to relive your epic road trip or need evidence for insurance claims? The built-in GPS module records your route, speed, and location data in real-time. You can review your journey right on the app or your computer for added convenience and peace of mind.

Wi-Fi Connectivity + Smart App Control
The F17 Elite pairs seamlessly with the Redtiger app, giving you full control from your smartphone. Download, view, and share your recordings instantly without the hassle of removing the SD card. Perfect for sharing scenic drives or critical moments with friends, family, or insurers.

24/7 Parking Mode
Even when your car is parked, the F17 Elite has your back. Its parking mode uses motion detection and impact sensors to automatically start recording if something happens to your vehicle. It’s like having an always-on security guard for your car.

I'm interested in the colour low light ability. I see on your website that your aperture is at F1.0 pretty amazing for a dashcam i think.
Because of the F1.0 does this mean your videos are able to effectively capture video with any blurring?

The low light colour ability that's only in parking mode though is that right?

In regard to the Wi-Fi connection, it appears that earlier this year some customers experienced problems with unreliable Wi-Fi performance. What is causing this issue, and has Redtiger been able to resolve it?

Another commonly reported problem is the camera falling off the windscreen, with the explanation given that the adhesive tape may not be strong enough. What brand of tape do you use for mounting?

One particularly interesting report came from an Australian user who stated that in hot weather the camera begins to behave erratically, with menus appearing randomly and settings changing on their own.

What is the recommended operating temperature range for this product, and what is the maximum temperature it is designed to withstand?

I also find it unusual that the night recording feature is not available on the rear camera. The rear of the vehicle is often the darkest area, and it would be very useful if the low-light function could also be used while driving, especially on country roads.
