not sure if any has this yet, but what about two cameras, one front one back, just the cameras then small usb cables to a unit keep in the glove box , out of site. the power cords are easy to hide that way, no worries about the sun and the heat of direct sun light. The main unit about the size of a Garmin gps in glove box .

you can do it

we're working on something just like that already
 
SG is only "late" for the dualchannel dance becuz they waited untill they was sure the tech was there for them to do it right.

But right now the SG workshops are alive with little yellow dudes running back and forth.

we've looked at 2 channel options for the last two years, if you look at Ambarella 2 channel product it's all buggy and even now after several years of development if you want to get it stable then it's only low bitrate or lower res if you want it to work, I know there's a lot of demand for 2 channel product but no point to develop something half baked
