Try turning it off - it will be stopping recording whenever it detects no motion so usually at stop lights etc.
It does mean it wouldn't record when you're parked but it's swings and roundabouts.

Agreed Jokiin..
Today had a stolen car in the river and I was using my Nissan Patrol to pull it out, I had Motion Detection enabled and I switched from Accessory's power to full time power (I have my cam wired on 2 circuits) anyway it stopped recording during the whole extraction, pissed off as it would have been a good clip.. TURN IT OFF its going to let you down, DOD would like to know what your going to do about this.. > Hurry Up Jokiin and release your new cam! 😉
