Where are people checking firmware versions?

Hi all,

Just wondering where people are finding/checking what the latest version of the firmware is for the Mini 0801?

Mine arrived today and shipped with 20131230 firmware so is likely the latest version but even so, I still would like to know where the official firmware download page is as I cannot find it.

As as aside, I cannot install the software which came with it as it keeps saying I need to install Quicktime first (quicktime is already installed and works perfectly). Is this is a known problem? Where can I download the latest software?

Don't use the shipped DVRPlayer but use RegistratorViewer instead.

There is no official download source for firmware files. Some people here are in contact with a few resellers (Givoe, eprance) which get the latest firmware from the factory. Sometimes they send them the file via email and we spread it here.
I try to collect all the firmwares on my page, check my signature for that.
