Where does Mobius get it time stamp info?

We just had an accident, and my file is 5 years off. Is this a problem for insurance people, or do they know this is common? Can I fix the time stamp somehow before I hand it over to insurance people?

It's never wise to modify a file that may be needed in a legal matter.

If you find that you "must" prove the date and time the video was taken, the information is embedded in the original file regardless of what the time stamp says.
On a Windows computer right click on the file and select "Properties" to see the creation date and time. On a Macintosh computer right click on the file and select "Get Info".
