Windshield mounting tape

I use the 3M dual lock TB3551 its good for 1000 open and closures I am in the habit of removing the camera every time I leave the vehicle for any length of time. unfortunately the (toerags) around here have no respect for other peoples property......Ipol

Apologises for waking up an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone had tracked down any black 3M VHB tape in the UK in a small quantity?

Does it matter which version is used? and is clear tape any less noticeable?

Clear tape is the next best thing, very hard to buy black though

Thanks for that jokiin. I think I might have to go down the double lock route - I don't need to remove the cam, but it appears to be readily available.
