Download 7zip, not all versions of other zip file programs will unzip these files correctly

I changed the downloaded file from the zip to the actual .bin file. Shouldn't have an issue now.

It appears my Mac didn't like the 7z file. All sorted now.

The V2.2 FW file is available at the bottom of Viofo's support page (WR1 FW had accidentally been attached previously):

If you download the 7z file from viofo's website there is a release notes txt file that you can translate from Chinese to get a lot more info on the fixes in all builds.

Yep.

Yeah, tried a different one just now. Same result. Pressing the Menu button takes a picture.

So, basically no way to format the SD card using the A119S.

Yeah, tried that today as well.

I was on v1.7 before this - which was the original FW that came with the unit. This was the first firmware upgrade I've done.

I can only get to the menu if I power up without an SD card inserted.

Anyone else seeing that?

Nope - let me try again. Worth a shot.

No dice , same result. Hitting menu takes a picture. No menu access with SD card inserted.

You need to stop the recording before you can enter the menu. Pressing the menu button while the camera is recording will take a picture.
