enjoy,

Ah, I see. The ‘new’ viewer version does not have the time zone, summer time, or PAL/NTSC. Since these are all together at the end, and all things that are not needed if the camera is sold only in one small country, I wonder if we have ‘new’ = Korean and ‘current’ = Export version, and maybe there will be an export version of the new viewer later.Mtz said:Please look in the attachment. Each cfg file was created by different viewers according to their name. You will see two different values and also one file is longer (bigger) than another.
I will probably write a script to convert between ‘current’ and ‘new’ setup.cfg.Mtz said:After creating the cfg file with the new viewer, inserting in the camera and powering it on, the setup cfg file will return to its default values which are for the current viewer. So creating setup.cfg with New Viewer is useless.
Mtz said:No solution for your questions. Only a firmware update can fix this.

It looks like the internal battery in my LB100 has gone bad. Because of this, the last file always end up corrupted.

I don't know if is a coincidence but my Viewer started working again after installing the new firmware.Brungle said:I have decided not to update the firmware yet as it seems some of you are having problems.
Mtz said:Also I think the problem is the battery. Maybe is just not connected. If you are planning to open the livue take care and use a very good screwdriver to not damage the screws because are soft metal.
TealShark said:Are you disconnecting the cable from the device itself or from the car outlet? I need to do more checks on my theory, but I've noticed that if I unplug it from the car it will properly finish the recording and give me the audio cue, but if I unplug the cable directly from the the device, it just shuts down immediately and corrupts the last recording.

Saw in the Vendor part of the forum and noticed the DOD V680L

What do you Think about this Product compared to the LB100? It's the same price as the LB100 due to the tax etc.

The video files from most cams are fine on Macs, just the included playback software that offers mapping etc is generally Windows onlyTealShark said:Aceone57 said:Do all the files work fine with macs ?
I've been able to play the videos in Quicktime on my MacBook Pro without issues. They seem to be your standard H.264-encoded MPEG-4 video.
