Hello all,
I just got my thieye t5e today, and immediately took off the lens, and attached my CCTV lens. I still need an IR filter, but the results are impressive!
Modding the camera took all of 15 minutes, and is completely reversible! Best part, it looks almost OEM, the adapter ring sticks out a tiny bit around the edges, but it doesn't look bad. You can judge for yourself.
I didn't even have to mess with any adjustments for the adapter itself, I just screwed it in as deep as it will go, and I can adjust the focus with the focal, and aperture rings! The adapter is too short to even come near the sensor, so it's the perfect size.
At 4k 30 fps, it looks very movie-like. It has those soft edges around the focus point, and everything looks very smooth. With a gimbal, this camera could nearly pass for professional in my opinion.
Anyway, I'll post some pics, and a gif of the lens in action.
I forgot to post links to parts.

Look at that adorable sensor
This what I mean about the adapter ring, I could probably even shave off what is sticking out, but I don't care enough.
This is @ 2560x1440/60fps (the pink hue is from lack of IR filter)
