Vueroid Announces new 4K dash cam - S1 Infinite

I don't know what the delays are but the longer they wait, the more the competition gets better and releases their own products
all company do front and rear imx 678 4k
s1 canot win.when it。born

This is exactly the problem, they should have launched back when they started announcing it
Or maybe they shouldn't have announced/launched, when it was a long way from being ready for sale?

Maybe it was almost ready, but they decided to upgrade it before release due to feedback. Trouble is that people always want something better than anything currently available, but trying to produce that is a never ending game as the competition is always improvin, you have to release at some point! Maybe they are just waiting for the tariffs to be sorted, but that might be an almost never ending game too!

yes lanuched too early

As I recall, the delay was to refine the S1 based on the needs of the Western market, which is essentially, a reasonably new market to @Vueroid. I would prefer VUEROID wait and launch the S1 when it is ready, whereas some other dash cam companies let their customers essentially be beta testers on new products that are not quite ready for market. I do not doubt the initial issues with tariffs were an issue as well.

so what different needs between western and other?

The Western market tends to be more demanding about specs such as image quality, bit rate, size, colour, accessories. A lot of the Asian market will get by on less demanding specs, I believe much of VUEROIDs market has been the Asian / Korean market. VUEROID makes a high quality product for the Asian market, now they are moving into the U.S. market. The U.S. market have customers that have 'vanity lists' of nonsense features that are often burdensome to manufacturers.

Good to know about Camping World being fake, SDS.

I thought it was weird as well so that's why I posted it with this emoji 🤔

Yeah. I have been getting emails of why they have it and we do not.
All we have been told is they (Vueroid) found a software challenge. We have no idea on what.

This is why when we seen them in March we told them you never hype up a product until it is finalized.

True. Apple has taken a few bullets and a lot of bad press over their over-hype of AI. Apple users are in two groups...it is perfectly OK and Apple will make it work, the second is a group that wants to sue Apple...and someone has. Apple hyped their AI befor being available on the next phones when their AI was virtually nothing more than a promoted story-board concept with little code put down.

VUEROID had an epiphany, especially after listening to customers and they needed to correct some things. I think that they hyped in good faith, believing they would make it to market in the specified time date, however, "challenges" as you call them, came up. Instead of putting an %80 ready dash cam on the market, they chose to regroup. It is better for us, the customers that VUEROID has the integrity to pull back and not sell a product that may cause problems for us and them.

I guess we shall see. Take too long your product ends up outdated and behind. Go to early and you could have software or hardware challenges. I know Blackvue is delayed, and Thinkware is delayed. I bet by the the time they release their products we will already see more new and upcoming products from other companies.

Vueroid on the racing track.
Though we found some faults, but good for future customers...

What vibration? That is normal looking to me, especially for track surface and vehicle suspension.
Try watching it full screen...
