Have VIOFO abandoned the a329?

seems to me that this must be the shortest lived product, and with v2 of the firmware coming for the T and S models, with the A329
Still being buggy, freezing and switching off since the latest firmware, have VIOFO abandoned this one knowing faults exist?
 
Thank you for the update - any idea when this is likely to be?

I'm still getting the issue I raised with support, but when rolled the firmware back to an earlier one, it's stopped shutting down so definitely seems to be firmware related.

After updating the firmware, be sure to manually default the cameras settings (there is an option for this), then press and hold the hard reset button on the side of the camera for about 5 seconds.
 
I did try all that - Support did offer to replace it, but given that the previous firmware rolled back stopped the issues, and it worked again, have written it down as a potential firmware issue.

There's no clear answer. They're just brushing it off and postponing it. That's how the new team works. Unfortunately, the service is poor and of low quality.

And the first error, USB doesn’t see the card!!
Everything is ok with the previous firmware!!

Can camera detect card if you take it out and insert it back? Did you test with another card?

Naturally, I did all this, it doesn’t help, on other firmware with this card from VIOFO everything is fine!!

I tried this firmware, and there are no errors in the video file names, everything is perfect!
The video quality is excellent, it holds the exposure and sun/shadow perfectly.

There's only a USB error, but it's not a big deal for me, since I use an SSD drive!
 
I would agree, and testing so far with it connected to a USB power source at home, I've not actually had it power off and get warm - even with the video quality set to maximum...

Same setup with v1.1 used to power off after 30-60 minutes, did it many times in the car.

But we shall see.
