That's interesting. I'm still on V2.0_251027. I can do a boot test before/after updating to 260104.

Did you reformat either of the SSD or microSD since the update?

No, I left them as they are (both are nearly full). SD card is 512G, SSD is 2T. I keep old firmware versions, so I could go back, but I haven't had the time to fiddle. Also, my timings are a bit longer than most as I am using a DIY battery that powers my cameras and part of the arrangement is a 8-10s time delay relay before charging starts and the cameras turn on.

Having said that, my A329T is starting to record much sooner, I'm not as far down the road before it starts to record as compared to the previous version.
 
I am on 26104 and did not notice any update for faster boot/record time.

Last Viofo posted, they stated that boot time optimization would not occur until firmware 2.1, and something about needs to be a full SDK or something update. So it much more involved thing.
 
I have an A329S + Telephoto with firmware version FWA329T_V2.0_260104 and a 256GB Viofo memory card.
I didn't notice any improvement in boot time after updating to this version. 🤔
 
I suppose the extreme cold could be impacting my time delay relay and shortening the delay duration, thus starting the cameras sooner than usual…
 
Im having the same issue on this latest beta version. Multiplexing video option gets turned off after a few days automatically. Goes back to 3 separate video files on the A329T.
So I keep turning it back on.

I have experienced the same issue using the latest 01/04/26 firmware. Multiplexing rad a box looking video that are not desirable. I’m hoping for a more wider appearance.

Yes. Also using the HK4 hardwire kit. I dont disconnect the camera. Its always connected.

The LED lights did the same thing in the 12-04-2025 firmware. But it was fixed in 01/04/2026. I had them turned off and after some days it would turn back on (just the white LED light for the rear and front tele). Like I said its fixed in the latest beta. Just the multiplexing issue is left to figure out.

Did you use the Bluetooth button to turn off cabin camera or set the cabin camera to only On while your driving and etc?
 
I just experienced my first memory card failure in an A329T. I'm running FW V2.0 and have voice notifications set to "critical only". I heard a notification whilst driving to work this morning, but the screen did not turn on and there were no changes to the LEDs so I actually thought it was another dashcam in my car. The voice notification did not repeat throughout the drive.

A few minutes later when I parked at work and switched off the engine, instead of switching to parking mode as expected the screen briefly turned on and displayed "memory card error" without any voice notification, then shut down.

The A329T recorded for 2m 36s on my drive to work, stopping at 08:54:54. One of my other dashcams recorded the voice notification from the A329T a few seconds later at 08:54:58 "memory card error - please insert a memory card".

@VIOFO-Support please can you consider turning on the screen when a critical notification is announced, and also repeat the voice notification at a suitable interval?

I am on 260104 and 329S is loosing multiplex, mic and led settings. @VIOFO-Support: is there anything I can do or just wait for the next firmware version?

I just did ota firmware update to 260104. My settings are Hybrid pkg mode. Now when I enter my car, close the door, I hear the cam taking a photo and get a voice notification of Impact (due to door closing). I don't mind the voice notification, but I don't want a bunch of "Picture" files just closing the door. Is there a way to turn this off?

The latest firmware versions support 2x Telephoto or 2x Fisheye.

Early telephoto and fisheye lenses only work with one A329S output. Newer telephoto and fisheye lenses can be connected to any A329S output.
 
I've got a custom V2.0 firmware (bluetooth disabled). It does not flash like the other versions.
I've formatted the card and put it in the root as suggested. Should I try LD98530A.bin into the root directory of the card?
Older version of the firmware flashed fine from the SD card.
