Who want to review this 2.7" Car DVR

i actually had some MD equipment... it was like a CD inside a floppy disk "case", only smaller. and the sliding flap locked shut.

once again sony came out with great tech (a'la BetaMax) and lost out to the competition. then again, sony should have seen the writing on the wall - the MD itself used MP3 compression. of course, nobody could have predicted how cheap flash memory would get, nor how well services like itunes would do.

I had a couple of MD players also, sold the last one I had not so long ago

I bought a bundle package when they came out, because i got an employee discount at Best Buy. I think I paid like $150 for a component-sized player/recorder, and a MDWalkMan which could also record, but didn't have as many features as the full size unit. my favorite feature was the ability to make one long recording, then break it into individual tracks at any point in the future. that and text labels, which standard CDs actually have, (CDTEXT) but almost nobody used.
