Yeah I don't understand why it is taking so long to release the Git 3. I remember reading a thread that said it would be out by Jan, then it was Feb, then they just seemed to stop updating any suggested release date.

I was looking on this site over 1 year ago and concluded back then that Git2 seemed the best option. But 1 year has passed. Isn't there something new? Or is still a bunch of fake sensor cameras with different branding/model numbers?

Git2, SJ6, M20 and the Yi2. Do these all have the stabilization that the Git2 does? If you are using it as an action camera which one wins? I ordered a Git2 over 1 month ago on a Gearbest sale. Found out today they haven't even processed the order so I cancelled it. Not sure what to choose...

Just realized Gearbest never actually sent my Git2. Cancelled the order. *(&^(*ing assclowns. Tried Gearbest once before and had a similar experience where the item took over 3 months to arrive. It's been over 3 weeks and the order still shows as processing.

I think there are definite advantages with 4k. More likely to pull a single shot image that is decent from a true 4k camera and crop it like suggested above. 4k is more future proof in general but maybe not if the video is only 15fps. In general, I think you are right. For most applications...

So where is there a good deal online? I would order one but there is some rumour of a GIT3.

I was just reading the fake 4k thread and this camera is listed as being 15fps not 30fps. So hard to find a legit camera!

I think the first video comparing the 4 cameras showed a major flaw. No stabilization means that using this for sports is going to result in super shakey video unless you are just a spectator...

Will be using underwater occasionally. Scuba, MTB and snowboarding use mostly.

I was looking at all the Chinese 4k cameras and then read the thread about how the majority of them are not true 4k and use 4mp instead of 16mp sensors. Is there an option below 150USD that is good and not using fake specifications? I will be using it for scuba and the odd snowboarding trip...

Out of all the budget / fake "4k" cameras, which one is the best? 1440p at 30fps is good enough for me if the quality is nice.
