Last week I was driving to work and my dashcam V2000GS caught a rear end accident. Video quality was not so good but you clearly see the event. No one was hurt. That was me saying Holy $hit just before the hit. The DS window was open about 6 in and the radio was on. It was about a 75mph hit.

The V2000GS specs minimum. 1080, GPS, etc.. The camera is going in a second car.

My V2000GS cost me $140 usd. New dashcam budget $250 usd but may go higher if the camera is worth it.

I have been running the V2000GS for about 6 months and it has been pretty good. I am looking to purchase another Dashcam and was researching if there are better choices now. If you have a V2000GS and or tested it let me know if you think there is a better dashcam. Thanks,

What memory are you using?

I had to hit the reset button on mine twice while making changes in the settings menu. Since then 2 days no further issues. My battery keeps the unit powered for 8 seconds after power loss. So far no issue with battery.

When I purchased the dashcam I paid extra $10 for them to add power cable 1.5m and mount in the box.
