    OK, so I have been looking at the pros and cons of this camera. One requirement I have is parking mode. A drawback of this cam seemed to be that it doesn't have supercaps and the internal battery if left inside could either expand, damage the DVR unit, cause a fire in the vehicle, or...

    Is it possible to have 2-channel 1080p dash cam systems based on supercaps (not batteries)?

    I have read about the importance of supercaps to a dependable Parking Mode strategy. So my question: Does anyone make 1080p (or higher) 2-channel dash cams based on supercaps? I believe there are some 1-channel dash cams with supercaps, but I am only interested in 2-channel systems.
