0906 doesn't auto record when connected to HDMI

Hi,

I have connected my 0906 to Car DVD player using HDMI-AV, I can see on my DVD player but camera doesn't start recording.

Recording is not possible at 1080p-1080p, recording happens at 720p-720p but have to manually start recording.

Is there any work around for this?
