You may buy the Chinese version of the machine, not the overseas version, so this mismatich will appear. You can take a picture of your device label. If it is not an overseas version, you should find the seller and ask him to return it.
 
I’m mistake not yet install app on my phone.that why can’t update the dashcam..big mistake..
 
I'm using version a500s_1.6.39_ch due to a firmware mismatch error. Is there any problem with downloading the new update?

Hi all.

New here. Bought a a500s. Box is sealed with all chinese words.
Device however can use English.
Original firmware is 1.0.17ww.
Updated 1.8.57ww and got the mismatch issue.

Downloaded the older pro plus firmware and flash it back to 1.0.17ww.

Just to confirm. This cross flash 1.0.17ww is the highest it can go?
 
Hi. I copied the FW96580a.bin file to the SD card. I inserted the SD card into the camera and then plugged in the power cable. The camera did nothing and the LED did not blink. It has not turned on since then. Please help. Thank you.
