To make HDR more practical for everyday use, we will introduce Scheduled HDR, a feature that automatically maximizes HDR's benefits when it matters most. Instead of manually turning HDR on and off every day, you can now set specific time periods for HDR to activate automatically.

For example:

  • Daytime: Standard image mode for cleaner and more natural footage.
  • Nighttime: HDR automatically turns on for better balance in high-contrast scenes.
Where actually notice it helping:

  • Night driving in the city
  • Highways with incoming headlights
  • Rain / wet roads with lots of reflections

Scheduled HDR allows both modes to work automatically based on your driving routine. This feature is currently exclusive to the new Dash Cam A810 Lite

Nice one Becky.
I will update my T800 when it go back in duty in the new car.
ATM no dashcams in operation here but will get new car tomorrow

Hi Karma, Thank you so much for your feedback! However, this feature is currently only available on the A810 lite. The T800 hasn’t been updated yet, but we plan to roll it out gradually in the future.

ok i will keep my eye out for updates then.
Also no hurry, while i get the new car tomorrow it will probably be some time past next weekend before there is weather here to install dashcams in a car.
Seem to be rain here every day, so far the summer been more wet than i like.

HDR config similar to Viofo.

edit - created a short video.

I did notice this feature a couple of weeks back, and have documented it here:

Post in thread '70mai 4K A810 Lite (unboxing & first impressions) (GalaxyCore GC8613, Fullhan FH8536HV200, Wi-Fi 6/GPS, 4K front, 1080p rear, HDR front only)' https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threa...t-1080p-rear-hdr-front-only.61283/post-669990

Good to see though that the decision not to bring it to older models seems to have been reversed! 🙂
