A little entertaining gift from Canada on Christmas day

We have that liquid bitumen patchwork too, but not to that extend off course.

I think its a side effect of the welfare state deciding to spend our money on something else.

With the prize of cars here and the cost of owning them and operating them you would expect our roads to be paved in gold, but thats not the case at all so a car is just like owning a bottomless pit you can throw money into all the time.

I hear you... still trying to wrap my head around the guy doing the patchwork job, he must have been asking "are you kidding me boss ... patch everything ?"

Looks like a lot of the rural roads here in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi.... Actually in every state I've been in so far. Even some sections of interstate highway in Louisiana look like that for miles on end.

We only wish our roads were that good here- the cracks go unsealed, the pavement crumbles, potholes develop and grow, then ten years later they repave only the worst sections :( Welcome to SC where driving is deadly to cars and humans alike
