First I've heard of build and build2 cameras. I know there was special firmware to help with a WiFi issue though. If you download the firmware for the A129 Plus IR on the Viofo firmware page, the firmware is FWA129SN.bin, so this seems a little confusing.

Your case is an exception. If the serial number of A129 Plus is A129PLUS2139XXXX and after, then FWA129SN can be used to upgrade. This may be easier to understand.

@VIOFO-Support For this situation is better to offer the firmware in a zip file which contains 2 BIN files with different names. The camera will use one of them no matter the serial number.

The G from your picture means it is the GPS version.
