A229 Pro Firmware Update OTA Works.... (Over the Air) LN

I made this video to demonstrate manual and OTA difference for the A229 Pro.
It should also help anyone who struggles with the process of either.

In the spirit of not leaving a stone unturned ...... oh and maybe my OCD......
I checked with @viofo who advised that the in the near future they will release the firmware version 1.3 but didn't have a firm date.


 
The firmware for my A229 Pro is V1.4_250918;V1.0_231207

Is the second version supposed to be the firmware for the rear camera? I believe the firmware for the main camera is up to date, but the rear camera firmware does not match what it shown on the website. I'm interested in doing the OTA update if possible ....do I just make sure that the Viofo app is updated and then there's an option in the settings to perform an OTA update when the phone is connected wirelessly to the camera via the app?

The OTA update is supported based on 1.3 firmware version, so you need to use SD card to update the latest firmware for rear camera from our official website first: https://www.viofo.com/pages/firmware?s=A229 Pro
