Then maybe your best solution is to sell the dashcam with viewer software that includes a good quality de-warp function, then you have all the information possible and it can be viewed perfectly "square".

I may have found a viable dash cam that I'd like to purchase. I'm seeking any assistance from all who can elaborate. The model is : Ambarella Mini 0803 A7LA50 Super HD 2304 X 1296P.

I noticed that the name E-Prance are on some, and there is a "Odo", same design. What I'd like to know is who should I purchase from? The 8 Gb internal memory is a must. Thank you very much.

That is a very wise suggestion. However, the world is collapsing, and there are not many adept in this field: at least where money is relevant. Thank you for your insight.

you may think the markup is excessive but it's a distorted view due to Chinese sellers that will happily sell something and make very little profit at all and have a much lower cost base, another seller wrote about the cost differences here http://joovuu.com/blog/?p=40

I am very much aware of the tariffs, and duty rates. Actually, the U.S. fares well in this respect, more so than the importers. This facet I cannot comprehend, and have no interest in this area. As you speak of percentages off (25%) such as Ojo, there is always the subliminal underling pitch. Example: The unit is, or can be purchased for $84.00 (no question). The seller ups the price to around $130.00 without the 8 GB internal memory. Adding the internal memory sums up to $149.00, BUT you can take 20% off at checkout. We are well versed in business, and have been for quite some time; as you are.

Really do not appreciate the fact of any trying to obtain more profit, at least from us. That is their prerogative, but it will not sell here. Do you really believe that I'm that green? Thank you very much for your continued support in assisting me. It is truly appreciated, aside from any negative remarks stated.

P.S.- I'm in communication with SpyTec on Ebay as we speak. I'd better check it is the same SpyTec. This is the world which we live in. Everyone trying to undermine, or gather to themselves heaps of treasures. In the end, everything means nothing. Faith is the key. You can take your faith and prayers with you when one is redeemed. However, you can take nothing with you when you leave. As you come in with nothing, you leave with nothing.

I hope you do not feel slighted, or offended at this summation, for it is not directed at you per say.

The purpose of any business is to make a profit, pay their taxes, pay the employees, rent etc, it's not anywhere near as profitable as people think

While the image created by that camera is certainly far from being "square", when watching video produced by mine, I don't actually notice that it is warped. I guess our brains contain de-warp software that works rather well. It is only if I freeze the video and examine straight lines near the edges that I see the curvature.

You may find it difficult to believe, but I've been in the electronics arena for over 40 years. Naturally a profit is deserving to the seller. What I dislike most are the very 'tricky' sales pitches to sell one's wares; whether electronic or otherwise. We've specialized in sales. and marketing. I've been given the ability to read well, in reading into things very quickly. Sometimes, maybe most times I play the game, for I know what the result may, or shall be. Spy Tec is a real slick company, hiding the details as the rest (not mentioning the 8 GB memory card) > Included or Not. These are the finer points which I have a distaste for. We know of all this, for we were part of the play at one time. It's truly sad that more darkness is trying to capture the light in people.

I must say that you are a one of a kind person.

Well, business, remains business, does it not? We seek internal honesty which business cannot comprehend. To be in a business setting all have to gain the upper hand to continue. Most likely, this is why I never succeeded in this area. Always believed in providing merchandise containing quality at very low cost, under cutting the mainstream. Someone like this will get swallowed up. How well do I know this. You have allude some points relating to the heart of the matter, such as honesty. This only stands to reason with business oriented individuals, but we continue to interject what is most important in the end. As Our Master said, What good is it if you gain the whole world and lose your soul?
