I wanted to move my old camera to my dad's car (an Opel Zafira) But I notices his cigarette lighter socket is always on, even when the key is not in the ignition.

Are there any easy fixes to change this? Can I change wiring in the fuse box to a different source (or is this to risky)

Bram

You would have to find a wiring diagram for the car in question to move the cigarette lighter to a switched point on the fuse panel. You would also need to make sure the place you moved it to would be fused the same so if someone ever used it for a cigarette lighter (or some other high draw device) that it would not blow fuses all the time.
Failing that, and maybe easier, would be to get one of the add a fuse adapter that would work on your fuse panel: http://www.tsisecuritycorp.com/TSI_USA_Fuse_Plugs_ATO_ATC.html or any other that you can find.
as well as one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B0006TIRZAAnd you could just wire it together under the dash and plug in the camera there.

if you're not sure where to get an ignition live from, if the car has electric windows, look for the fuse for thm as they will only work with ignition on, get your feed from that fuse.

If you want a really simple solution without messing around with wiring and fuses, you could use something like a switched lighter adapter like this:

Find a convenient location to place it and attach it with 2-sided tape. I have mine attached to the underside of the ashtray and it couldn't be more convenient. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that you have to flip a switch when you get in the car, but I'm ok with that. In addition, there are extra slots for other things. I have four devices plugged into mine. Here's how mine looks:
