Bad lane changing

Almost hit by a trailer when driver failed to indicate into the lane I was already indicating and moving into.
Luckily i saw him at the last moment...

Looks like you both decided to change lanes at the same time. He changed a bit hastily, especially with a trailer in tow.

Illegal to change lanes in an intersection here or for 100 feet prior. You must stay in your lane until you're clear, then you can move over. Was only a couple weeks ago that I encountered a similar situation with just a car- we both began to move over slowly at the same time, and I think I saw him first so I yielded and got back in my lane. He hesitated half-way over until he saw me yield- just one of the hazards in driving I guess. Had either of us been rushing to get over there would have been contact In the past I've had several people almost clip me with their trailer- apparently they'd forgotten they were longer than usual and were cutting things too close anyway

Even in a bad situation, no crash = a good thing
