Hey guys,

What's the best dashcam that money can buy? I'm looking for the absolute best quality possible, and I am okay with updating firmwares so if the camera needs a firmware update, I can do this.

Thanks.

what specs are you after and what's your budget?

Correct :)

As long as it's suitable as a dashcam, and has the best video quality, I'm not bothered about anything else like GPS etc.

Take a look at the FineVu CR-500HD, the Vicovation TF2+ and the Lukas LK-7900. Those are your best bets for good video quality and English support.

hi.

if you don't limit budget, i recommend lukas LK-7900 8GB+GPS.

I asked for help this two month ago. i got a recommendation two models iroad 3800fu and LK-7900 8GB+GPS.

i bought lukas and satisfied with two point.

1.execellent Video expecially daytime video was excellent. License plates, road signs, advertisements, and inane bumper stickers were clearly readable.

2. good voice recording. Clear recording and playback. The mic is quite sensitive and will pick up road and wind noises if you leave the window open

i heard lukas series need using a cpl filter. but i don't think so.

Thanks guys,

Bobby, would you mind giving me a sample of the Lukas one?

The YouTube videos don't look incredibly good, but I know YouTube process the videos after you've uploaded them.

Why not go and do a search on Youtube?

I think there might be some original clips in the Lukas forum here. HTH.

I just said I don't want YouTube videos because they reduce quality.

Why not read my post before replying.

Thanks for the links guys.

My link is to a post with original files hosted on drop box?!

Hope it helps :)

Yeah mate, I saw that yours were links to Dropbox, I was saying thanks to you!

I was being sarcastic because another poster suggested YouTube after I'd specifically said I didn't want YouTube ;)

He was referring to Mikk36, who suggested using YouTube after it was specifically stated not to use YouTube videos.
