As some may know we've been working on some new product and will shortly commence some field testing, there's a few members here I've already identified that I'm going to ask to help with that but (prompted by a number of messages I've received) if anyone else would like to be considered as part of the testing group please get in touch, really looking for people that bring something to the group so if you have some particular sort of experience that lends weight to this that might not otherwise be known now is the time to speak up

We're testing across a broad range of conditions and circumstances so there's no particular requirement as such, (you don't need a science degree to participate), it's not just about getting something for free though and would favor those who contribute more in the forums here

If you think you have something to offer please send me a message, we have lots of product coming up so even if not about this next product there will be other product down the track that we'll want to put into people's hands (cars) that might be able to participate in the testing so the process will be ongoing

I would be happy to help. I drive a truck in the UK in all conditions night/day. I have your other camera and found it very good. But the night files don't seem as clear as the DR32

this one will do much better at night than the old models ever could due to newer hardware

As I mentioned in the other thread, I'd like to help or test your new gadgets, regardless whether as a tester or just doing a translation to german. And if not now, then for one of your upcoming products as well.

Perhaps it may be worth contacting Mat at Techmoan. As you know he has numerous reviews of dashcams and he may be interested in participating in the beta testing to iron out any faults.
Can't help but think it would help with sales in the future if any issues he raised were addressed before release, after all you could only get a great review then.

I don't know that he takes product submissions these days, he's a bit more picky about what he spends his time on from what I understand and primarily looks at products he's personally interested in mostly, understandably so I guess as it is no doubt time consuming and not his day job, I think once he got a bit of a following he started to get inundated with people that were looking for free publicity

it would certainly be good to have him look at the product as he's obviously looked at a lot of different product before and his reviews are very much focused at the average guy in the street that might not be so technical but just want to know does something work as intended and is it a good result, this is a lot more valid than having someone look at something that gets lost in technobabble that the average person has trouble trying to decipher like some reviewers tend to do

I'll put my hand up,for Beta Testing.

I drive some rough country roads in a truck and car,and about to drive more as it is coming into my peak season!

Want to see how your cam(s) will hold up in a Canadian winter? πŸ™‚

I'd love to help! I usually drive in cold weather (60 F) and my dad drives from varying conditions, so I could test longevity and stress testing (recording for a long period of time, everyday).

Should i mentioned, that i can test these Cams on german Autobahn with speed beyond 100mph or even 120mph? πŸ˜€

I'm interested as well. I currently have Lukas 7900 (front) & Lukas 3900 (rear). I'm in search for another dashcam for my second vehicle. I think this would serve a perfect opportunity to not only use, but compare it with my current setup and provide feedbacks.

Thanks.

I would like to test it too if you have some available dashcam.

enjoy,
Mtz

@jokiin As you can see from previous posts I am a lukas fan and have tested pre-release firmware and viewer for them.If I can be of any assistance I will be quite happy to help as I am retired and have time on my hands. Dont be fooled by the profile photo that was taken around the ice age 😡 even at work they used to tell me I was one day older than god.πŸ˜€

Thanks Ipol, I don't have an unlimited supply of course but it's not a best in best dressed situation either, will be looking at all sorts of different usage scenarios, countries, climates, user experience, forum participation etc and looking for a mix of contributors that can assist so interested to hear from anyone that feels they have something to offer, I have other product in the works too so even if not for this product there is other stuff coming that's possibly of interest (like to think we're building interesting products)

@ jokiin Fully understood yes you sound to be forward thinking and innovative which in turn prompted me to respond. If at some stage you wish to avail yourself of my services dont hesitate to let me know.......Regards to your good self and the other forum members who have offered to put themselves at your disposal......Ipol

just came across a aol video showing a 1907 hand cranked ( dashcam) if you use your imagination.......footage filmed from the front of a tram in Vancouver. The gentleman doing the filming perished on the titanic 5 years later.Well what do you know a dashcam thats older than I am. 😱

I'm more than willing to help if you need any testers in the midwest US. My dashcam stays in the car 24x7 and the weather ranges from 0F to 100F if that's going to be a factor in testing.

thanks, will be selecting a range of different usage scenarios/environments/skills etc for the trials

I suspect you probably already have more than enough random "volunteers" like myself, but if you could identify any specific scenarios or environments that are of particular interest, it may help to narrow the field to those you would benefit the most from. I would average anywhere from 2 to 3 hours of daily driving in multiple trips of 20 to 45 minutes in all weather and lighting conditions. I also archive recorded footage daily, so chances of catching interesting footage is good, though tornado season is over for now. πŸ˜‰
