After 3 hours of inactivity in the cold (-13°C), the focus blackvue "floated".

Sure wish you would have had these videos before I bought my BlackVue.. Now all I can be happy about is the form factor.. small consolation though :)
I keep thinking.. wistfully.. that there will be a firmware update that will blow the competition away..

a big challenge on their choice of hardware
I know.. screwed! But I still like the form factor.. and the WiFi has potential.. <he dreams>

When I was just a dashcam hobbyist in 2013, I was nearly seduced by the blackvue formfactor and wifi, until I dug deeper and did some proper homework.
It's all about Video quality Video quality Video quality in the end.
WiFi is "fun" at first until you realize it's just too slow to transfer a bunch of huge files over. (not worth killing video quality for)

This seems to be an often mentioned argument. But.. WiFi on my laptop is more than adequate to download all the video available via the WEB.. My TV has an option to connect to my home net work via WiFi. If.. one wanted to D/L all 32 Gigs or now 64 /128 etc WiFi would not be your fastest option.. but to view individual clips and / or save them to your computer via WiFi it would seem to me to be perfectly viable.

Could I buy rear camera to upgrade dr650gw-1ch ? Or I have to buy new one, dr650gw-2ch ? Thanks

I think.. youre stuck with buying a new set. There is no plug in the 1ch to connect a second camera too. This is contrary to the original pictures of the dr650gw-1ch.. they clearly showed a port to plug the rear camera in.. should you wish to upgrade. By the time the camera went into production that feature had been removed.
