Hi you all! I bought a cheap DVR (ab. 29 euros) because I don't want to spend too much for such of thing.
I take some videoclips and I selected one to upload for identification. The camera can save videos at full HD (1080p) resolution (possibly interpolated?), but at a poor framerate, I believe 10 fps, but the HD (720p) videos are great (for the price), having 30 fps. The shell of the camera is like the DVR007's... something like this> http://www.cameraauto.ro/27-camera-auto-dvr-hd.html
The video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj_Nmw3xh2A
Anyway, I'm happy with the image quality on the day. On the night is... horrible!

Thanks in advance!

PS> tomorrow I'll be back with pictures with the menu of the camera...

I've never seen a camera with a yellow time stamping inside of a DVR-027 type shell before.
The size and spacing looks a little like Carcam K2000 but yellow instead of white. the case also looks a little like the DVR-027 i guess.

How are the raw files the camera creates named?

The files are named as you can see in the youtube sample: SUNPxxxx, in this particular case, SUNP0004. No gap between files. It saves AVIs, MJPEG, about 20-25 Mbps bitrate.
As I say, I attach some pictures taken to the menu of the camera. In the last photo is the firmware version.

Just a guess but probably using a new low cost Sunplus solution if the file name is any indication

Aditional information, by pictures... see below and by Exif of the pictures taken with the camera: camera maker - Icatch, model - Spca 1628.

yeah that's Sunplus

Ok, and? Can you add some comments about the processor, sensor etc. ?

I haven't used this model at all so it would be unfair to comment, I have dealt with some of their other products previously, they deal predominantly in entry level product in most categories

Indeed, I already searched myself. The problem is that neither Google gives more results...

I wonder... the 720p resolution is interpolated?
