Car USB power outlets

I wonder when (or maybe if) we'll ever see car companies integrate USB power only connectors near the headliner of vehicles. Most vehicles have some powered devices up there already, interior lights for instance, so adding a 5V 1 or 2 Amp USB connector should not be to complicated.

I don't see the demand for that feature. The only thing you might.. want to power from the head liner area would be a dash cam.But not all dash cams are powered from a USB port, some one would want a cigarette lighter plug up there.
If.. car companies wanted to help... they could make it easier to tap into different circuits by leaving pigtails to tie into at various spots.

Some car companies certainly used to leave spare fuse positions that were powered from ignition Ford certainly did.

But finding the wire to tap into was never an easy task.
