Choppy Video ONLY on iPhone XS

I have the B1W, and have been using it since spring. Everything worked fine with my iPhone X. Then I upgraded to the XS. All previous videos in my library and new videos play at about 1 frame per second. This only happens with videos from the B1W, and it only happens on the XS. If I transfer the videos to my wife's iPhone X, or an older iPhone 7, all videos play flawlessly.....

I think i'll visit the Apple store and see if it happens with ALL iPhone XSs, or if mine is somehow defective...

Maybe it is a question of a missing codec ?
But guessing here have absolutely no clue when it come to products from that brand.

Seems like if they omitted the codec in the XS, the videos wouldn't play at all, right?
