Civic nearly T-boned while making illegal U-turn

I don't know what the Civic was thinking. U-turned from the right lane. Just about got himself creamed by the Audi SUV. For those who don't know, Granville Street in Vancouver is one of the busier streets in town-- it's one of three streets that have bridges connecting to the suburb Richmond.
