VLC will play both channels, but not at the same time. On my Galaxy S4, it plays one channel, then if you stop and replay the same file again, it plays the other channel. MX Player shows the other stream in the file details, but seems to lack a way to select it for playback. Also, my phone will not see the 64GB microsd directly through the OTG. Not sure if it's a file system limitation or the OTG port doesn't put out enough power for the microsd reader, but if I copy the file to a standard USB flash drive, then plug that into the phone, I can view the file. Not exactly handy, considering the CF100 has video out and should have some playback capability builtin.
Here are a few other observations on the CF100 while I'm at it:
1. The slow startup is annoying. I can be halfway out the parking lot before the recording kicks in, so if you get into a scrape while backing out, the camera won't help if you don't sit there and wait and wait and wait before pulling out. I'll have to seriously consider hard wiring, thought none of my previous cameras have taken more than 3-5 seconds to start.
2. The rear image is not mirrored using the video out, but is mirrored when playing back with the PC viewer. This should be a selectable option on the unit. The rear camera actually has quite a good viewing angle when mounted center high and can show the driver side blind spot quite well, if only the image were mirrored so it can show approaching cars on the correct side.
3. The G sensor setting applies to both driving and parking modes. This results in unnecessary "events" during driving over even small bumps, which can be mitigated by reducing sensitivity, but then it would not sense anything other than door crushing impacts in parking mode. The two modes should have separate G sensor settings.
4. The ball mount is too loose and may allow the camera to rotate when pushing a button or more importantly, during an impact, causing loss of view. This can be seen quite often in other crash videos where you basically just get a good view of the sky immediately after impact.
5. The vertical orientation puts the lens farther from the windshield, making it more susceptible to capturing reflections. I will have to look into a polarizer at some point.
6. Front and rear brightness are not independent. Some vehicles, like mine, have factory rear tint and the ability to increase rear brightness without over exposing the front channel would be useful.
7. Removing and inserting the microsd card on a daily basis is as much of a pain as I thought it would be. Big personal preference, but unless the camera is truly teeny tiny, use standard SD!
Despite all of the above, it is still a great camera for the price ($140) that has excellent image quality. I'm seeing perfect focus and very good clarity from both the front and rear sensors. Some of the issues I knew going in, but there was either no other choice or I thought it wouldn't be a big deal at time of purchase. Hopefully they can address some of the issues via firmware updates, or in the next generation of cameras.

Yes, you right. Only front channel. MXPlayer is what I also use.
