Could this be the end of Top Gear UK?

Agreed he was a bit over the top so many times because he knew without him the show was nothing. Didn't he just recently cheat on his wife with a TG staff member? I also highly doubt he learned anything from this, if anything he will make more from it. All famous people know that bad publicity is more beneficial than good publicity.

It's truly a shame that people reward such bad behavior and truly a shame because the three of them made a great team. I'm sure you will see them again on a different network. Top Gear can't just insert another member.

They wont be allowed to do a Top Gear on another network, and it wouldn't work properly anyway as they would never get decent stars in a reasonably priced car.

There are plenty of TG presenters around the world, they could do a whole series with different TG presenters from USA, Oz, China, France, etc., could even have a different Stigg every week and find out which is the fastest Stigg!

Well i am old and grumpy and quite a special guy, and i can do a drift too, or at least as good as the hamster & captain slow 😛

I hope BBC know i am looking for a job.

as long as you film all that with our camera then you've got my vote 😉

This could be a whole new exciting category of dash cam footage in the "Recorded by You" video forum. 😀

Can't wait for @kamkar1 to get the ball rolling.....or 4 wheels drifting, as the case may be.

Actually, this could be a whole new way to test dash cams!........a required component of all future reviews.
If nothing else it would be a way of knowing that reviewer is sincere and deserving of a free dash cam to test. 😉

Any dashcam will look good in that vehicle. 😀

I think so.

Dont know about you guys, but here gasoline prises are up to the norm before the price dropped, so that car will be a extrememy expensive car to test.
And dont get me started on what it would cost to buy here 😳

When the gas price dropped some expert on tv said that the price would more or less hold for the rest of the year 🙄 just your average danish expert 😡

6,4 US dollars for 1 US gallon 95 oktane when i loaded up yesterday 🙁

Interesting article & video at...

I think this will inevitably have a huge impact on BBC revenue. Top Gear was a flop before Jezza transformed it into a worldwide success.

50% of the UK audience are women, with no particular interest in cars, who watch it for it's entertainment value.

Over the next couple of years, sales of Top Gear abroad will dwindle to nothing. It'll be a UK market programme for an ever diminishing audience. I'll watch any old crap* involving cars, so I'll doubtless continue to follow it.

* with the possible exception of Top Gear USA, which is truly awful.

At the local gym a lot of guys on the elliptical trainers will spend hours and hours watching cooking programs, especially if the presenter is an attractive female.

Here's a typical review from a USA viewer.

Here are the title lines from some of the reviews that followed:

These reviews are more entertaining than the actual program. 🙂

The popularity of Top Gear UK with British women is possibly that it confirms their well-founded belief that men are just big boys with big toys.

And that the size of their manhood is inversely proportional to the length of their car's bonnet / hood. BTW, I drive a Mini Cooper 🙂

You'd be driving an old school Mini if you had a massive manhood - the new 4x4 ones are blooming massive 😛

That video is all over tonight - it's brilliant!

I thought it was CassetteBoy or something at first as it feels like something he'd done but it's someone else.
