dash cam wont keep correct time

i recently bought an E-Prance GT8 dual camera setup from Amazon. I like the camera except that it wont keep the correct time, it will however keep the correct date (or at least it has so far). I am no expert in this field but my thought was that maybe it has something to do with my car outlet turning off for too long, i dont do much driving this time as my job is mostly seasonal. i bought a power magic pro already thinking that it may help the situation, but more importantly it will free up my outlet so i can continue using my phone charger in my car.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? or do you thing the power magic pro will help?

Turn off the time display for the time being so at least if you need any files your evidence won't be tainted and contact the seller and ask for a fix
