This lorry driver used the wrong side of he road to make his turn but may have had no choice? Maybe the lorry restricted the use of the correct side of the road, or did he/she get the angles wrong? The back end seemed to "drift round"....

No problem, but just wondered...

Notice all of the dirt on the ground on that side and none in the correct turning pocket. They probably have a reason for doing so.

Am thinking there was insufficient room to turn and remain in the proper lane. Interesting to see that the trailer wheels are steerable.

It did look like (due to steerable trailer wheels) they probably could have done it no problem on the correct side of the bollards, but using the wrong side made it a world easier, and quicker, there was much more room

I don't think it was possible due to the bollards in the middle of the road before the turn. He would normally have moved right first to give more room but the bollards prevented that and although with the rear steering he could still have turned, the back would then have been very close to removing the second bollard since the back swings out.

Also, it looks like it has been a building site for some time so turning into the wrong side has not been an issue since all construction traffic would understand and would give way when they saw him coming.

I think he couldnt do it other way because first turn is too narrow and hes truck and trailer are too long even with wheels steerring.
