diy polarizing filter?

I saw a post a while back where someone made a CPL out of a cheap 3D-movie glasses, but I can't find that post now. Does anyone know where it is?

I really appreciate that you have shared this. I looked at it for a long time. It was an amazing idea to make a CPL out of a 3D-movie glasses. Anyone can try this easily.
 
I want to add a remark : if you cut up 3D movie glass , be careful to mount it the right way , i mean not backwards ( the side which faces your eye must also faces the camlens , after that done , temporary mount it in your car and rotate slowly the home made CPL till the dashboard glare disappears , and fix it in place
remark: you will lose some light ( typical 1 or 2 stops )
