What i take your post to mean is that if you edit the above 1.005E config to Russian from English language and install it it will give you the Incorrect version information.

Look in your Russian config file and see what the language says It may be "Russian" Or just "Russia" make sure you put the same into the English vers above Instead of the Korean that is in there

Then take the card out and alter the language in the config to English and it should work.

My cam in original is Russian version firmware,then I update the DR500GWHD_v1.005E(2013_0315)_for_Korean_dashcam firmware.
Then became a brick.

I don't think you had installed the original firmware, but maybe some custom firmware. That file is for transition and update from original korean firmware to original english firmware.
