Failure to connect Blue tooth with Iphone 7

I have a 2012 Ford Focus with Blue Tooth, a IPhone 7 and a 522GW

I cannot connect via bluetooth to my Iphone, I cant connect to my 522GW with the nextbase app either.

Please help.

Is your iPhone 7 on iOS 13 or above please?

Does your Ford Focus connect to your phone directly using Bluetooth please? If so, you'll need to disconnect this to then link the Bluetooth to your 522GW.
