Firmware Comparison A129Pro vs A139 vs A129Plus

Plan to update this thread each time VIOFO (Vee-oh-fo) updates Firmware to all three models: A129 Pro 4K <+> A139 2K <+> A129 Plus 2K

Video Footage Capture Setup = PotPlayer video source frame capture (Ctrl+E) with all enhancement effects disabled.
- CPL OFF (using DIY Dash Mat)
- WDR / HDR OFF
- Highest Bitrate
- Lens angle balanced for road sky brightness + straight horizon
- 128 GB micro SD memory card Samsung or VIOFO

All Dashcams were updated to newest official VIOFO Firmware as of Feb 6, 2022 (FYI - waiting for A129Plus replacement Lens Module)
My untouched full resolution source frame grab comparison reveal the following:

No, it is just that it isn't zoomed out to make its big 4K images fit in the same space as the small sensor cameras, as most comparisons do!

That is a standard 200% Zoomed image. All 4K video or image will always be larger in size than lower resolutions media. Shrinking 4K to 2K for YouTube video comparisons is common or even up-scaling 2K to 4K.
Note: A139 Lens does not have perfect Focus but its close.

Is there any possibility you can repeat this test on a two lane road with an on coming car? Motion blur is a real problem with dash cams, and a picture of a parked car while stopped does not show it.

I agree with @DAP . Most of the times plates just cant be red if the car is going towards you.
