Fuse breakout wire 12v led rocker switch

Hi so I added a 25amp fuse breakout wire on my cigarette lighter fuse slot then added a 12v led rocker switch, when my ignition is off my cigarette lighter has no power but the rocker switch always has power, any ideas why this is the case? Thank you

The power from the fuse probably goes to the lighter via a power relay so that it can be turned off at the appropriate times. The lighter gets turned off but the fuse doesn't

Not sure that is the case, might help if you stated the brand/model of car.
