GPS module connection pin/ribbon issue

Hi Guys,
I have my A129Pro Duo since 2021 and today it stop working. I've troubleshooted it and found out that its the GPS module.
So i did more troubleshooting and found out that it was not the GPS module but its connection as when I swap with a working GPS module it still doesn't work.
I've clean the contact with electronic contact cleaner but still the same.

I'm thinking of opening the main unit, has anybody tried opening one and changing the ribbon connector that attached between the contact point and the main board?

Pls. advise.

You can try to reseat the ribbon cable, but the issue is likely beyond easy repair. Some early models developed the issue your describing and it turned out to be some part of the hardware. Camera should still function fine when power is applied direct to the side of the camera.
