Replaced the USB cable , and the GPS has gone back to being flaky ..
Is it a USB cable issue ? is it an issue with the mount ?
Maybe a battery issue ? ( I wonder as it wont hold the time - keeps re setting to 00.00 )
Seriously - What a flaky dashcam !
I rate the 0805 as a regretful purchase !

how long does the battery work for when off the charge?
try plugging USB into the camera instead of the mount also

Yes , I was going to try the USB into the camera rather than the GPS mount ..
But will the GPS work that way ?
Had the 0805 on the charge for a few hours now ( plugged into my puter )
