I have this dashcam, I think it works great but im trying to get rid of all the text on the screen and replace it with a simple graphic. new memory chip? reprogram it?
 
I think it's possible to remove the on screen texts but I have no idea how to replace it with an image... Why do you want an image on screen?
 
doing research on the chip, it seems to me I can connect via USB and rewrite it, probably need some pretty specific SW tho.. any suggestions?
 
DirectUSB might be what you need.
 
Cant seem to find a good copy of DirectUSB. anyone have it?
